Names and Bells

It is usually not really difficult to remember names of people in Dk, not because they are easy to pronounce but because they are all the same. It is a fact I can see every day but mainly when I am checking my mailbox. Around some foreigners names (italian, french and german), I can see plenty of Anders or Frederic. And last names do not benefit from a larger pool of names. Sometimes it is even a bit absurd, a famous danish scientist is called something like Anders Anderson. As a consequence, Danes use to give their second first name to avoid confusions. It becomes really funny when you visit a friend and you see two or three times the same lastname on the bell board. If you do not know where to ring, the best option is to ring on all of them, sometimes their are from the same family, indeed the way Danes are buying their apartment tends to create clusters of siblings and friends in buildings.

Does it imply they did not practice much "biodiversification" ? Like marrying with new names-people
?

ok they want to keep their girls 6,5ft tall and blondes (I know it's a myth).
by the way I found a way to practice my english with slow talking movies :

Well... of course it ain't Shakespeare's style.
Thanks for the link, it is precious ! I was just reading the synopsis and already started laughing. Unfortunately, the streaming window is not very large.
I think that Dk does not have problem to renew its pool of genes, just they keep the genes but not the names of foreigners... It is roughly common to see 50 years old persons who have been married 3 times. So it gives room to try some exotic partner from time to time, as long progeny stays in the country
