Car washing

I have always been critical toward fanatics of clean cars. A dirty car does note drive slower or pollutes more, roads are dirty, cars become dirty as well. Here in Kenya, the question is even more critical. Roads can be (very) dirty, muddy, but people give a high importance to keep their car shiny. So it is common to see in Nairobi big SUV cleaned once a day, even during water shortages.
But the matter becomes more annoying when you realise you are also supposed to comply with your obligation to keep a car clean. After a week of stay in Nairobi with our rusty and muddy RAV4, one of the gardener came to me saying my car is very dirty. Of course in a country where you are always surrounded by people looking for a job, you cannot easily keep your things so obviously in the need of some intervention.
